STAR Students Featured

A new program that highlights students and their accomplishments has been launched at Greeley. Having been inspired by the Sly & The Family Stone song, 'Everybody Is A Star', art teacher Wynita Harris designed a program that will recognize each and every Greeley student before the school year ends.

Based on the concept that students who feel good about themselves, do better in school, Ms. Harris uses her artistic skills to design a poster featuring the students. It includes a photo of the student and information about the actitivies that child likes, his/her favorite school subject, favorite food and job/career aspirations when they grow up.

You can see the STAR Students of The Week posters in the main hallway outside of the cafeteria when you visit Greeley.
